Coffee, tea or me sir?

It is all a matter of taste, for all the senses... how do you take your morning cup? Perhaps for you it is a mid-day treat? Coffee is my morning ritual, it warms my hands and gives me time to wipe the sleepiness out of my eyes.

Today I set out to make a simple caffeinated treasury to promote some wonderful Etsy sellers and was amazed at what I found. There was no way I could edit these lovelies down into a mere sixteen images. So give them a click and vote for your favorite... shades of aqua, red and corals or golden yellows and creams.

Blue Valentine

This year I don't want red roses or chocolates in a heart shaped box... come to think of it, I am not sure if I have ever really wanted those things for Valentines Day. What I would love is a sunny day lounging with my honey, a picnic lunch and a nice glass of wine. To see more of my blue Valentine take a peek here.

Clever Girl

I recently came across a little shop, Vogue by Vague. Their charming photos are enough to make my storybook heart go pitter-pat. This clever girl uses everything from assorted vintage fabric to unspoiled tablecloths in creating her wears. I get a kick out of the idea that this lovely rose frock could have once shared table space with mini gherkins in my Grandmother's dining room. Have a great weekend everyone!

Monday Love

A little something to brighten your day. The Infamous and Dapper Hugo-Beast. If you would like to learn more about this dashing fellow stop by here.

Cozy

Working with your hands on a regular bases can be rather joyful... except when you need to cut and fold a couple hundred handmade cards on a cold winter morning and the heater has decided not to work despite many pleas. That is where these lovelys come in. I have grown very fond of fingerless gloves and it seems there are ever more talented people making them these days. So many colors and styles are available. I happen to be the proud owner of the aqua blue pair shown above. They were made by uloni and even arrived in custom made wrapping paper that was personalized just for my order.
Talk about attention to detail! For a link to items shown please click on the images. Have a great week everyone!

Welcome

Could you imagine coming home to this everyday?

The stuff dreams are made of...

If you have flipped through the pages of Vanity Fair or Vogue recently you have probably already gasped in amazement at the photography of Tim Walker. The London based artist has a knack for creating elaborate scenes that feel oddly familiar, almost as if they came out of your best dreams or remembrances of old fairy tales. His work is detailed in a away that captures elegance and absurdity in the most delightful manner. If you have the time stop by his site to see more.

Lovely Lettering

Beautiful old lettering on sheet music... swoon.

Say it with sugar...

There may not be a sweeter way to send a message than this. These charming cookie cutters are available exclusively at Williams-Sonoma. The set comes with three shapes, three full alphabets, including extra vowels. They are even nicely priced... especially when compared to some of the expensive European versions I've seen.

Food Water Shelter

From time to time, it seems easy for me to forget that there are very few things I actually need in life- food, water, shelter. Compared to the many things I may think I need. These items feel necessary but, are little more than things I want- like MacAlister boots.

I am rather lucky to have everything I actually need- food, water, shelter and a healthy dose of love from friends and family. That being said, I wouldn't mind living it with such great style as these folks do.
